Jack Swarbrick taking to the airwaves

Sep 1, 2009, 10:30 AM EST

Can’t get enough of Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick?

(I could always link to another Q&A if you guys would like…)

Don’t worry, because you can look forward to the Jack Swarbrick Radio Show!

Swarbrick will be hosting a one-hour weekly radio show beginning this Saturday (Sept. 5) and will be running for 30 weeks. The show will be broadcast locally in Chicago, South Bend, and Indianapolis, and on Notre Dame’s website at und.com.

Here’s more from the official release:

The hour-long program includes Notre Dame coaches and athletes, as well as nationally-known guests from all facets of athletics. The show features Swarbrick, Notre Dame’s director of athletics, and co-host Dave Juday from ESPN 1000 in Chicago.

Former athletic director Kevin White also had an hour-long radio show that was broadcast in a similar capacity as the show Swarbrick will be hosting. Maybe it’s just me, but I’m much more interested in hearing Swarbrick, who in less than two years on the job has been more candid and open in interviews than I ever remember White being.

If you’re looking to get caught up on the greatest hits from season one of the Jack Swarbrick show, you can check out 10 episodes here.
