Agree with the previous poster’s comments. Those calls were all bad – and all against the Irish. How often did big ND plays get called back for holding – pass to the tight end for s’thing like 72 yards – and the holding was very iffy. Michigan get called for holding ? Did their linemen never hold the whole game ? The sportsmanship penalty against Allen at the end was horrendous, and hugely consequential. If that’s a flag, then call a flag every time anyone ever scores a td & doesn’t just flip the ball to the nearest ref. Just seemed as if every big call went against the Irish, and they overturned a number of big Irish plays. Allen didn’t go OOB – the replay certainly didn’t show a clearly different perspective than the call on the field to overrule the onfield call of td.

to me i looked like the refees were a little biase.yes notre dame shot itself in the foot with penalties.how about calling allen for for 15 yard for putting his finger to his mouth in the reference of the form of “to b quiet” or the non call of a michigan player pushinh michael floyd back to the ground when he was trying to get up after being tackled or all the holding of tate by the corner back thru out the game by hooking his arm while reaching for the ball,or the so called holding by a lineman when a rusher is being blocked down to the ground
