Great points. I want to ask why is no one talking very much about the penalty on Armando Allen after the 2pt conversion? What did he do to get a taunting penalty? I thought that was a horrible call and it put Michigan in a great spot field position-wise to start their next possession, and that carried forward to the end of the game.

Keith some great points. The shame in all this, if ND doesn't turn this around, is Charlie Weis is such a great fit in so many ways. He recruits great kids, good athletes that seem to understand the higher standard they are held to at Notre Dame. He is great with the media, open and honest, many times to his own detriment.(he really should stop using the word schematic) Yesterday, he said he had some questions about the refs calls. This is good copy for you media types but, it leaves him wide open for critcism from his critics. In the next few weeks we will get our answers as to whether or not this is a coach that can bring our team back to the level we want. I hope he suceeds. I still think he can. Unlike the last two coaches at ND, he has proven to me that it is possible to recruit the type of athletes that can bring ND back to the top level of college football. If HE can win with these players, remains to be seen. I pray that he can. If he cannot, I don't know who is out there that has all of Weis's positive qualities and none of their own negatives.
