if you had seen the turk at practices, you would not be nervous about him at all.
tenuta has never liked the press and never will.
for the rest, you are right on.
the key is winning games, not providing the opposition with useful information about game plans.
charlie and notre dame’s student athletes always have some very useful information about players on the opposing teams which make watching the games much more enjoyable for us.
we must admit that we get a kick out of seeing and hearing charlie,notre dame’s coaches, and notre dame’s student athletes exposing eric hansen of the sbt and his weis and nd bashing hansenite colleagues as the con artists that they are and always have been.
there was a time when hansen and others at the sbt and at certain other so-called notre dame fan sites had special access at notre dame.
now, the hansenites are treated like the lepers that they have chosen to become by selling out to notre dame’s enemies.
for that reason alone, we find the pregame press conferences at notre dame highly entertaining.

I’m a little nevous about our new punter, Ben Turk. I wish he had a couple of kicks under his belt before this game. The fact that the weather might be lousy only adds to my concern. A miscue by him could be a game changer, I hope he’s ready.
