The only one spewing "ignorant crap" in this discussion is the one defending the 2010 schedule. Look at the four games preceding USC:
Oct. 16 W. MICHIGAN (NBC)
Oct. 23 vs. Navy -- at the Meadowlands
Oct. 30 TULSA (NBC)
Nov. 13 UTAH (NBC)
Nov. 20 vs. Army (NBC) -- at Yankee Stadium
How in the heck does this prepare us for the speed and athleticism of USC? The 2010 schedule is a nightmare scenario. Best-case we enter the USC game at 11-0, USC kills us, and we're out of the BCS Bowl mix entirely with an 11-1 record because our SOS is so pathetic.
Look at OSU's and Texas' schedules? You really want to go there? OSU played or will play USC and UM, just like us. Throw Penn State and Iowa in the mix, and our schedule already sucks by comparison. As for Texas, you need to take your act on the road, because you sir are freaking hilarious. The Longhorns schedule includes Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Mizzou, Ok State, Texas A&M, and probably Kansas twice.
Swarbrick is incompetent, but not quite as incompetent as those who defend his actions.

Go look at OSU's schedule or Texas's and tell me it's incredibly different from ours.
Michigan toasted powerhouses like Eastern & Western Michigan and Delaware St. last week.

Are you serious?? A. Notre Dame isn't in a conference and B. It isn't going to matter because I still see three loses and the loss to USC at the end of the year is going to really hurt. Plus Notre Dames Offensive line is graduating (which could be a good thing), and if Clause is smart he will turn pro this year with Golden Tate.

Michigan
MSU
Stanford
BC
Pitt
Utah
USC
What do they have in common?
They are all quality opponents. We would never ever win a title again with the likes of, Miami, FSU, USC, Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Alabama, LSU, playing 2 teams a year like this is all anyone really does, so why should we do any different the other opponents are quality teams.
