Heisman Pundit has Clausen at #2, Tate at #6

Even though Jimmy Clausen hasn’t put up monster numbers the past few weeks, the lack of players stepping to the forefront has kept him in the thick of things. A straw poll conducted by Chris Huston, a.k.a. the Heisman Pundit, has Clausen running second behind Alabama’s Mark Ingram, the leader, for many, by default.

More interesting is the appearance of Golden Tate in the poll. Tate has come out of nowhere to move to sixth place in the poll that is one of the more accurate predictor of the Heisman race.
