Hey robertg:
You end your #7 paragraph above by stating that you work with a very high level of proficiency. You then begin your next paragraph #7. You're not working at such a high level here, bub. I find that I always have to read your posts, much the same as I always have to slow down and look at the aftermath of a traffic accident.

keith,
1. apparently, some people forgot to check the full rankings at msnbc/sportsncaafb where the rankings appear every week. going to the espn or anywhere else is completely unnecessary with one exception and that is the six computer rankings that are currently factored into the bcs rankings, providing 1/3 of the bcs rankings elements with the coaches rankings(human) and the harris poll rankings(human) providing the rest of the bcs rankings results.
2. the ap rankings mean nothing any more and for very good reasons.
3.anyone can check the six computer rankings systems currently factored into the bcs equation at bcs college football rankings
4. the current computer rankings systems are hopelessly flawed since the ingoing data and the computer software reflect very serious biases of the people behind choosing the input data and writing the computer software.
5. florida currently appears as no 1 in all human and computer rankings systems with one exception from an outfit with an alabama bias.
6. we have sent all six computer rankings systems to our computer software experts and not one even received a passing grade.
7. therefore, we have done our own completely transparent to the public rankings system which we will shove down the throats of the bcs, the ncaa, the conferences and the schools. after all, we have been in the business or writing and fixing computer software for more than 30 years(obviouly, those companies are run by techies even though i can read and compose software at a very high level of profiency).
7. while there are numerous problems with the current rankings systems and while getting rid of the coaches vote and the harris vote are obvious requirements, replacing the current ranking systems with honest and fully transparent sotware and date input systems.
8. among the key factors currently omitted are graduation success rates for student athletes polaying footballv and evaluatioins of the academic content of courses on the transcipts of every coolege football player and athlete, along with onsite inspections of each listed course.
9. no doubt, the inclusion of those factors would favor stanford, boston college, the service academies, and the other schools that field teams of real student athletes.
10. however, since we can use economic violence in the civil courts to shove the new rankings system down the throats of the bcs, the ncaa, the conferences, and the schools that field football teams composed of full time athletes.
11. however, those schools made those choices. they will have to change their policies or take the ranking consequences
