    Thanks Brian.

  2. Jorge - Nov 7, 2009 at 3:03 PM

you can watch the game in, is free

  3. Sean PAtrick Murphy - Nov 7, 2009 at 3:23 PM

So, if I have this correct, the refs whistle means nothing in this game because they can decide later if they meant to blow it? Just reviewed the fumble and 3 refs were blowing the ball dead while it was on the ground. Parris laid back away from it, 2 Navy guys jumped on a “dead” ball which was later determined to still be live?
At what point this season will there be repercussions for horrible calls?

  4. Paula - Nov 7, 2009 at 3:27 PM

Where are you watching the game? Here in Louisville it doesn’t come on until 3:30.

  5. JoeRadicanTexas - Nov 7, 2009 at 3:41 PM

“Holy Poop Deck Batman” I fell asleep and missed entire first quarter only to wake up and see ND down by two touches..whats the deal?

  6. James - Nov 7, 2009 at 3:44 PM

Hayden is an idiot. I dont know how this guy is still a commentator for ND games. He just mistook Mike Ragone for Golden Tate. That is inexcusible. Please find someone with common sense, awareness, and an actual football IQ. Thanks…

  7. Will - Nov 7, 2009 at 3:46 PM

    Charlie Weis needs to fired1

  8. Zack - Nov 7, 2009 at 3:58 PM

Are you kidding me???? What is happening here with this team and what is Weis smoking with this awful play calling?

  9. Josh - Nov 7, 2009 at 4:13 PM

Can we please put one in the endzone?

  10. Rich Christensen - Nov 7, 2009 at 4:27 PM

Yes the play calling is terrible right now. Hughes is a north and south runner and we try to run him to the outside on first and goal? If your gonna run it to the outside use the other guy that is running the ball well.

  11. terry - Nov 7, 2009 at 5:02 PM

    pathetic defense, just horrible,,

  12. Sean - Nov 7, 2009 at 5:04 PM

Charlie Weis is an embarassment to ND. He should be fired.

  13. terry - Nov 7, 2009 at 5:15 PM

mite as well face it nd just cant compete against the big time schools..

  14. Rich Christensen - Nov 7, 2009 at 5:19 PM

This isnt a big time school. ND is just playing terrible defense and not tackling well at all. Navy’s rushing attack is always a little tricky to defend but we would be fine if we tackled better.

  15. Jammers - Nov 7, 2009 at 5:32 PM

Since when did Navy become a big time school? If ND can’t conmpete with the likes of Navy then its time to drop football.

  16. terry - Nov 7, 2009 at 5:34 PM

no kiddin Einstein, that just shows you how bad nd is. they havent played good d in yrs, this is just poor coaching,, the art of tackling is long gone.they just try to knock people down or yank the ball out.. what was that dandy don use to sing? oh yea “turn out the lights the party’s over” been a nd fan since terry hanratty was the qb.and will always be a fanbut the season is over, they might go to the muffler bowl or whatever they call it

  17. tony - Nov 7, 2009 at 5:48 PM

Wasn’t there a facemask on Parris’ fumble on ND’s first possession? Shame instant replay cannot correct missed penalty calls.

  18. Rich Christensen - Nov 7, 2009 at 5:52 PM

There has been several missed pass interference calls in the end zone before they finally called one that actually didnt happen. Not to mention the hold on Tate.

  19. terry - Nov 7, 2009 at 6:15 PM

lets see, temple spanks navy on the road, then navy beats nd at nd,,c.w. gotta go

  20. L Kardonsky - Nov 7, 2009 at 6:16 PM

I love it; Navy beats the vaunted Irish….how does this happen?…kids that are going to be Marines, Aviators and Sailors beat a team that can recruit and boast a long line of NFL players. Unreal. Pat Haden hyping ND the last 4 minutes of the game ala Keith Oberman CNBC slobbering about Pres. Obama.
Hey Pat, the Irish were beat, and beaten soundly, by a team that has no business, I mean NONE, of winning. Kudos to Navy…I am neither a Navy nor ND fan, just love college football

  21. discgusted Domer - Nov 7, 2009 at 6:19 PM

What’s so upsetting is having this offense be able to move all over the field and NOT score in the RED ZONE? How bad are we that we can’t get TDs? its haunted us all year long. Settling for field goals, getting stopped on 4th down, or turning it over. 3 Turonvers and 2 missed field goals today? That is awful play calling and horrbile execution!

  22. Will - Nov 7, 2009 at 6:20 PM

Stop complaining about the refs. Navy out played the Irish all game. The only person to blame is Charlie Weis. He is a horrible play caller and doesn’t mentally prepare his team. The team played extremely sloppy and with no sense of urgency. Charlie needs to be fired asap.

  23. habs001 - Nov 7, 2009 at 6:23 PM

first half…very poor play calling by weiss…this game has cost him his job for next year

  24. tony - Nov 7, 2009 at 6:26 PM

Is it all Charlie Weis, I’m not a Weis advocate but is it personnel to some extent? I mean are expectations to high at ND? Would Alabama, SC, Florida, Texas struggle to stop Navy? Ultimately are those schools admitting student-athletes that cannot overcome ND’s admission threshold? I don’t see the athletes on the field that were there when I attended ND? Where are the Stonebreaker’s, the Lyght’s, the Zorich’s, the Smagala’s? In terms of running backs, where are the Brooks’ (both), the Watters, the Bettis’, the gamebreakers like Rocket or Tim Brown? When I watch us, I lack confidence in Weis and just don’t think we field the big-time talent to compete with the aforementioned schools much less overcome a group of courageous overachiever’s like Navy.

  25. Sam - Nov 7, 2009 at 6:30 PM

This Weis’ fault plain and simple. Horrible red zone play calling. When you outweigh a team by so much why do you run outside? When you outweigh a team by so much how do you let your qb get sacked twice in critical times? Horrible OL, horrible defense, and horrible play calling. I just hope ND stashed away some NBC money to throw at Urban. ND will never get past mediocre with Weis.
