Partial announcement of coaching staff puzzling

Jan 6, 2010, 3:39 PM EDT

Brian Kelly’s announcement that Mike Denbrock, Mike Elston and Chuck Martin were officially joining the Irish coaching staff was welcome relief to fans watching the ticking clock until National Signing Day.

On UND.com, the three coaches gave a collection of quotes, and all three were asked about their immediate plans — recruiting.

Our friends over at Blue-Gray Sky do a nice job pointing out the specific quotes, which I’ll paraphrase here:

Denbrock: I’m already on the road. Checking on commits, and meeting some new targets. Expect me on the West Coast

Elston: Keep our commits, check on guys we chased at Cincy. Get to San Antonio and relock Blake Lueders.

Martin: I plan to challenge Abe Froman — and Ron Zook — for his title belt in Chicago, a city I plan to own.

While Pat makes the good point that it’s nice that Notre Dame is at least paying attention to the recruiting concerns many had during the transitional period, I’d argue that Kelly and the people in charge of vetting the potential assistants still aren’t working fast enough.

Looking back at Notre Dame’s last coaching transition, you’ll see that Charlie Weis, while still working as the offensive coordinator of the New England Patriots, had his first staff ready, assembled, signed, and announced before Kelly managed to get his first three outside hires in the door.

Getting it done fast certainly isn’t as important as getting it done right, but the fact that coaches like Bob Diaco and Kerry Cooks — who Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema confirmed was coming to Notre Dame — aren’t already out on the road and recruiting means that something is holding these announcements up.

I get that contracts need to be finalized and Cincinnati played a bowl game on January 1st, but red tape isn’t a valid excuse when opposing coaches are squiring your committed recruits.

Many Irish fans seem most concerned about Kelly and his staff being able to protect the recruiting class that Weis and company put together. But with just under a month to go, and a coach that was just named National Coach of the Year, the staff shouldn’t merely settle to keep the status quo.

(Right now, two of your biggest arch-rivals in recruiting, Pete Carroll and Urban Meyer, are at their most vulnerable. Carroll is staring down sanctions after the Trojans’ self-imposed slap on the wrist of the basketball team did little to call off the dogs. Meyer is pretending his family, faith and health come first while telling recruits he’ll be back and better than ever come August. Where is Kelly and the new staff to go after those committed recruits that had interest in Notre Dame before committing to those programs?)

In recruiting, perception is reality. While I’ve been willing to give Kelly a pass and trust his judgment as he assembles a staff built more on previous relationships than prestige, every day that Notre Dame has less than a full compliment of coaches is a day lost in the race to February 3rd’s recruiting deadline.

    Thanks Jake.
Now that the BK staff is essentially in place, we fans can stop worrying about wasting anymore time….I find several things very promising about this group of coaches:
    - fit BK’s emphasis of teacher, coach, recruiter, etc.
    - have recruiting strengths in varied & targeted parts of the country (tho still looking for the CA and TX connection)
    - many have worked together before and within college ranks
    - have been with winners & have a winner’s mindset
For those of us that are concerned that ND is not aggressive enough in going after USC and FL verbal commits, I submit that negative recruiting can be a slippery slope. In his book “No Excuses”, Charlie clearly stated that one of his pet peaves was negative recruiting by others, eg. – other team’s coaching staff is unstable, weather is unpleasant, academics too difficult, etc. Charlie stated that he wanted players that bought into ND’s strengths and saw ND as a right fit for them regardless of individual coaches who could come and go. I think that otherwise there was a concern that a player would be more inclined to transfer if things didn’t go totally as expected on the field.
I think Keith stated it well when he suggested priority focus on targeted recruits that initially demonstrated a strong interest in ND before making a verbal elsewhere. I think this is a better balance and use of time than going after all multi star recruits that have given verbals to other programs in “transition”.

  2. tjak - Jan 7, 2010 at 10:40 PM

Keith, normally I am all on board with what you say, but dude give BK a chance. Ideally I would want a full staff sooner then later, but let’s wait till February 3rd before we go all panic mode. robertg get a life man, what is the weather like in your world?

  3. John - Jan 8, 2010 at 12:34 PM

Keith you are one of those CW apologist bozos!!!! Brian kelly has not even been ND coach for 2 months and he is moving to slow? who has ND lost? Secondly I will take a coach anyday that chooses his recruits from gut instincts rather than these BS ratings 4 5 star garbage. In case you missed it Keith Rees is starting classes this week and will be ready to assume spring ball duties for ND! CW is gone and thank the lord for that, now can we have our message board back so we can stop reading your pro CW S, PLEASE!!!!!!

  4. JPA - Jan 8, 2010 at 2:49 PM

Robertg, get help soon! If you had any evidence of anything inapprpriate you wouldn’t be on here, you would be selling your story to ESPN, USA Today, etc.
I am not a blind follower of CW, but I think it should be said that CW did a lot of good for ND. After the Davies/O’Leary/Willingham debacles all the pundents were saying ND couldn’t get top flight recruits anymore, CW disproved that. ND was scrambling for a coach and CW came in and ran a clean program, graduated his players, and left a lot more talent than he inhereted. CW is a genius, but it doesn’t matter if you’re not capable of relaying this information in the time you have (drinking from a fire hose). Most great NFL teams average way more than four years of experience. It’s true that you can throw one or two inexperienced players into the mix (i.e. Tom Brady his first few years) and still be fine. But in the NFL the coaches can spend as much time as they want with players to bring them up to speed and the experience around them helps enormously. In college your lucky if you get a fourth year with a really talented player and have far fewer hours per week coaching them up.
If BK or someone like him had come in after Willingham, their lack of national recruiting experince may have been exposed. But if BK continues to develope players the way he has at all his other stops, and with the talent that CW left him, BK has the potential to win early and often. Win 10 or 11 games next year and a drunk monkey could look like a national recuiting super-star. Which is why, even though it was time for CW to go, we should say thank you for leaving all the pieces to return ND to the top and good luck in KC!
    GO IRISH!!!

  5. robertgfan - Jan 8, 2010 at 8:36 PM

    1. Keep ‘em coming Robert.
    2. You’re the only reason I read the press about ND anymore.
    3. At least you’re honest.
    4. The cancers that have overrun the officiating have affected the entire organ system of college football.
    5. We, and only we, will be able to stop them.
    6. Lets make a plot…unless someone else is already making a counter plot. And if they are, lets make a countercounterplot.
    7. I propose an alliance.
    8. GO IRISH!!!!!

  6. tjak - Jan 9, 2010 at 2:55 AM

robertgfan, I can only assume that you are spoofing robertg; otherwise you too are an idiot.

  7. Jan - Jan 9, 2010 at 4:08 PM

Amen JPA….including Charlie’s effort in talking to T’eo and his parents (probably other players/parents as well) to in part influence decisions to stay at ND despite Charlie and staff “moving on”.
I predict that years from now ND fans will more fully acknowledge the significant contribution made by Charlie & staff in building the base of player talent and helping move the program forward. In some ways it will be like the timing of the fan perception of Dan Devine.

  8. leomcm - Jan 9, 2010 at 8:32 PM

Let’s see how good BK and is developing staff are. With Pete Carroll quite likely leaving SC (recruits unable to contact assistant coaches) can they get any of his verbal commitments. The next week or two should be interesting. Is BK and his staff capable or are they fumbling around still trying to get it together.

  9. leomcm - Jan 9, 2010 at 8:40 PM

It seems that Pete Carroll is finally moving on. There are a lot of his recruits out there who can’t get ahold of his asistant coaches. Let’s see how good a recruiter BK and his staff really are.

  10. robertg - Jan 10, 2010 at 6:30 AM

    1. sorry,we do not need any more assistance( we had the full crew in place and all of the financing in place from ourselves months ago), even with the fall of troy bringing in niagra falls of new evidence and requests for out of court settlements, quite a few of which we are rejecting despite the enormous sums being offered.
    2. we know that a significant number of 2010 recruits would have switched to notre dame if charlie and his staff were still at notre dame.
    3. however, so far, all of the elite recruiting fallout has gone to schools other than notre dame.
    4. kelly and his staff simply cannot recruit at notre dame or at any other school of notre dame’s stature.
    5. we predicted right here that the emerald bowl would be petey’s last usc and college football game and we predicted the very ugly fall of troy which you can all watch unfold now.
    6. we are proud to have had a great deal to do with the fall of troy and petey and mikey and are not backing down one bit until that job is completely done, along with the others.
    7. as soon as kelly and the cancers are cut out of notre dame, notre dame football will benefit from our overall projects.
    8. right now, the damage to notre dame football is relatively minor- many key recruits for the 2009 and 2010 recruiting cycles.
    9. notre dame’s other sports have not yet been infected and we will make certain that the cancers and kelly and his staff reimburse the university of notre dame for all economic damages caused by them.
    10. we see no other good faith requests for information to which we have not previously provided detailed answers.
    11. by the way, if anyone thinks that the con artists at the california state bar can protect him or her, or any other person or entity, from my attorney associates and me in the civil courts in california or in any other state, we encourage any such persons to telephone or write to california state bar and send them copies of our posts.
    12. for very good reasons, the state bar con artists are terrified of my associates and especially of me.
    13. remember that i proudly disclosed my real name and the details of my big wins over the con artists at california state bar and the crooked california state judges at nd central and elsewhere all over the internet before anyone else did.
    14. with the exception of keith, every other poster is still trying to hide behind phony internet identities.
    GO IRISH!!!!

  11. Irish Faithful - Jan 10, 2010 at 6:38 AM

We need to wait and see what BK is going to pull in with national signing day right around the corner. There approach is probably the right way to go, target guys who were on the list before CW was fired, as well as guys he was looking at when at Cincy. But the events of this weekend really open the door for recruiting in SoCal.
I don’t think anyone could argue that CW destroyed the football program at ND. He did a lot of good for that program but couldn’t get it done where it counts most, W/L. Could they have given him more time, possibly but his biggest problems were: 1.He “thought” he had a solid defensive staff. 2. He left what he thought was a solid defensive staff to do their job without much intervention. 3. He didn’t recruit the defensive side of the ball very well.
BK has the players to implement his offense, what they need to focus on is defense. Offense sells tickets, Defense wins championships!
BobbyG, you really need to get back on them meds and switch to decaf!
    GO IRISH!!!

  12. robertg - Jan 10, 2010 at 7:17 AM

    1. i do not use caffeine or any stumulants. i do not take any medications since i am in excellent physical, mental, and spiritual health and always have been.
    2. anyone who wants to wait until national signing day and the responses of notre dame student athletes who have 5th year options should do so.
    3. we also have immense faith in notre dame, after we cut out the cancers in the civil courts.
    GO IRISH!!!

  13. Irish Faithful - Jan 10, 2010 at 4:48 PM

No caffeine no stimulants, no meds…hmmmm.
That’s all you can do is wait for national signing day, see who signs and see what those with a 5th year of eligibility will do.
So that we all understand you correctly, through civil court you and your “crew” are going to attempt to dictate to a private school who the decision makers are or aren’t?
You really believe that CW shouldn’t have been fired and that he will return. You say that all BK and his staff are looking this opportunity as a launch point for something bigger and better.
    Hi, welcome to corporate America.
So if CW was the CEO of a major corporation, and during his 5 year tenure he brought in some outstanding employees but not once turned a profit, because he was a good guy and brought the right kind of people in you would keep him around. Because he understood what the organization was about you’d keep him.
I have to bring this up…did you notice that after his firing, nobody talked to him about being a head coach again. I mean there are and were plenty of openings in the NFL and College, nobody wanted him in that capacity. Because he isn’t a head coach!
Great recruiter-yes, great offensive coordinator-yes, head coach-not so much!
Stop your whining, stop trying to be an oncologist and let someone who has head coaching experience, unlike you or I rebuild ND the program.

  14. ugetwutuask4 - Jan 10, 2010 at 5:53 PM

Could not have put it any better!!!

  15. grandpashyena - Jan 10, 2010 at 6:53 PM

Hmmmmm! let’s see the robertg checklist:
tin foil hat adjusted to mother ship
    fillings tuned into all frequencies
California bar association brought under control
    Enron and other entities squashed
Catholic church cleaned up and punished for alterboy transgressions
    Tax code fixed
Pete Carroll exiled to rainy Northwest
SOT hiding assets and trembling in fright
    BK on thin ice
    All recruits going to ND
Brushed up on cancer removal techniques
    Subpoenas ready
    Crooked refs hogtied and retired
CW safely stashed in KC until the second coming
SAT and LSAT scores crowed about
Whew! a good season’s work, and all this with no drugs, stimulants, perfect health( physical, mental health.
    Next, national signing day

  16. Philippe - Jan 10, 2010 at 7:10 PM

The criticism that Kelly was ‘slow’ in setting up his staff was
premature and wide of the mark. There was no ‘puzzle’ to the ‘partial’ announcement of staff hirings. As I write on January 12 Monday in Australia his staff is complete and out recruiting nationally. Stop hyperventilating and give the man a chance.

  17. TLNDMA - Jan 10, 2010 at 8:24 PM

    How’s the weather?

  18. kejji - Jan 10, 2010 at 11:14 PM

robertg says he is responsible for the “fall” of Pete Carroll…Carroll is going from making 4 million a year at USC to 7 million a year at Seattle, wow what a fall, would you please sue me and cause my fall so that I too can make twice as much as I make now?

  19. robertg - Jan 11, 2010 at 12:28 AM

    1. we have seen zero evidence that kelly and his staff should be given any chance at all at notre dame. winning national championships at gvsu is nice for gvsu, but is worth bupkis at the notre dame level.
    2. based on their educational and character and coaching backgrounds, kelly and his staff do not belong at notre dame and neither do the cancers within notre dame who fired charlie and his staff, who had recruiting and everything else running perfectly and needed only some assistance in cleaning up the current corrupt officiating, rules enforcement, and bcs and rankings systems to have notre dame football in the national title hunt every season.
    3. we got rid of petey and brought down the crooked trojan football program, with many others crooked football programs to follow rapidly.
    4. with all of the trust that charlie and his staff had built up with recruits and their families and high school coaches all over the us and with the great respect that charlie and his staff have in the nfl, notre dame football really could offer real student athletes things that no other school could-their best possible shots at the nfl and a great education at notre dame.
    5. it took charlie and his staff until the 2008 recruiting cycle to deliver to notre dame the nation’s no 1 recruiting class simply because charlie and his staff had to overcome the distrust among recruits and their families and high school coaches of the pattern of a few jerks in notre dame’s administrations of canning notre dame coaches without giving them sufficient time to turn the program around.
    6. kevin white was notre dame’s ad during the 2008 recruiting cycle and helped charlie and his staff assemble and keep together that no 1 recruiting class for notre dame by giving press conferences confirming that charlie and his staff would be at notre dame for the long run.
    7. when kevin white did not receive the support from purcell and jenkins that he needed, kevin white got disgusted with those elements in the notre dame administration because kevin white could not trust them.
    8. as a result, white quit and became the ad at duke and purcell moved his flunkey swarbrick into the position of ad at notre dame.
    9. in the 2009 recruiting cycle, charlie and his staff had another no 1 recruiting class lined up, only to lose many key recruits at key positions to other schools because purcell and swarbrick and jenkins allowed the media shills to create the impression that the jobs of charlie and his staff were in danger.
    10. after the usc game in 2008, charlie actually had to confront swarbrick and tell him that charlie and his staff could not visit recruits and their families and high school coaches unless they could honestly tell them that charlie and his staff would be at notre dame for the 2009 season.
    11. in learning about the business of college football, we also learned about how recruits and their families and high school coaches think.
    12. they value honesty and loyalty and coaching stability. they value respect in the nfl. they understand how phony losses can be orchestrated by crooked officials and that such crooked systems can be fixed. they also understand how long it take to bring back a vitually dead football program as charlie and his staff were doing in excellent fashion at notre dame with honesty and integrity and without compromising notre dame’s very high academic and character standards.
    13. not being able to trust the administration at any school to provide them with coaching stabilty kills that trust and recruits pick other schools, as so many key notre dame recruits have already done in the 2009 and 2010 recruiting cycles.
    14. we know about purcell from the civil courts. we were instrumental in getting purcell kicked out of morgan stanley as the ceo after purcell’s lust for power and greed and dishonesty came very close to driving morgan stanley out of business.
    15. the information about purcell is available on the internet for anyone. just plug phil purcell morgan stanley into your search engines and print out the articles and wikipedia sections.
    16. our sources inform us that purcell and swarbrick now have control of notre dame endowment which declined from more than $7 billion to less than $5.5 billion in one year due to bad investments of the same types that purcell made when purcell was running morgan stanley.
    17. firing charlie and his staff and hiring that con artist kelly and his staff appears to be just a tool to distract attention away from what purcell and swarbrick are doing with notre dame’s endowment. we will confirm these tips with depositions and discovery in civil litigations.
    18. these cancers and kelly and his staff are a great danger for notre dame until we cut them out in the civil courts and bring back charlie and his staff and install an honest and transparent system at notre dame to prevent a few bad apples from ever hijacking notre dame again..
    19. there were many new 2010 verbal commits announced for many other schools at the annual army navy game this weekend.
20.no new verbal commits chose notre dame( the 2 who appear in the very short video at nd central committed to charlie and his staff.
    21. recruits and their families and high school coaches simply do not trust kelly and his staff or the few con artists in notre dame’s current administration who have temporarly hijacked notre dame to promote their own personal agendas, despite the fact that purcell and swarbrick and jenkins all got degrees from notre dame.
    22. there is currently no system of institutional governance at notre dame, leaving notre dame open to be hijacked by a few con artists to promote their own personal agendas.
    23. we love and admire what notre dame should stand for far too much to let any more damage be done to notre dame by these con artists.
    GO IRISH!!!

  20. robertg - Jan 11, 2010 at 4:53 AM

    1. we told everyone right here at nd central that we would bring down petey and mikey and the crooked usc football and basketball and athletic programs.
    2. we were savagely attacked by sot and certain others who simply refused to look at the evidence and believe us.
3.kelly and his staff do have some head coaching experience at gvsu and central michigan and cincinnati, but none of them has a clue about how to recruit or coach at notre dame, which is obvious from their complete failures on the recruiting trails.
    4. notre dame and notre dame football have great futures, but not as long as purcell and swarbrick and jenkins and kelly and his staff are at notre dame.
    5. bringing down petey and mikey and the crooked trojan athletic department is plenty of empirical evidence of our determination and abilities, not the the opinions of internet posters means anything at all in real civil court jury trials, except for those real notre dame fans who have chosen to remain victims.
    6. purcell and swarbrick and jenkins and kelly and his staff fully deserve everything that is headed their ways in the civil courts and we will make certain that they reimburse notre dame for the damages that they have already caused.
    7. we know many notre dame graduates who excelled at football and as student athletes at notre dame and in the nfl and in their personal and business lives after the nfl.
    9. my family and i are members of the notre dame community by virtue of very large financial contributions to notre dame which we have cut off completely until the cancers and kelly and his staff are kicked out of notre dame.
    10. we know many notre dame graduates and large donors who have taken the same position that we have.
    11. while my attorney associates in our clean the crooks out of college football and sports projects really do not know much about notre dame, i have veto power over some matters and i have exercised that veto power to protect notre dame.
    12. the key is that purcell and swarbrick and jenkins did not seek the permission of anyone in the notre dame community before they engaged in these hiring and firing atrocities and did whatever they have done with notre dame’s endowment.
    13. we were not asked to vote, nor were any of the notre dame alums who stepped foward with the big bucks to save notre dame football and picked charlie as the long term coach because they all understood that the revival process at notre dame would take at least 10 years.
    14. kelly and his staff and purcell and swarbrick and jenkins will get no additional time because none of them every earned the right to be at notre dame in the 1st place and none of them gave charlie and his staff and notre dame’s student athletes and real chance.
    15. if the usc community had moved quickly instead of letting petey operate for 9 years, despite all of the overwhelming evidence of the cheat to win program and then made things even worse by cooperating in the coverup, usc’s endowment and other material assets would not be taking such big hits in the courts.
    16. because of my family and i, notre dame’s endowment and other assets will not be taking any hits in the civil courts.
    17. in fact, after we take all of the material possessions of purcell, swarbrick, jenkins and kelly and his staff in the civil courts, introducuce an honest and transparent system of insitutional governance at notre dame and bring back charlie and his staff, we will donate a good portion of the funds that we obtain from out of court settlements and collecting on court judgments to notre dame and give notre dame a harvard size endowment which the real notre dame has certainly earned.
    18. from a legal point of view, the firings of charlie and his staff and the hiring of kelly and his staff are legally null and void and violate many state and federal courts.
    19. kelly and his staff are not legally notre dame’s football, coaches. they made their own private deals with purcell and swarbrick and jenkins and have no legally valid contracts with the university of notre dame with the university of notre dame.
    20. from a legal point of view, charlie and his staff are still notre dame’s football coaches since purcell and swarbrick and jenkins never had ther legal authority to fire charlie and his staff.
    21. the current situation is a real mess for notre dame, but we will clean up that mess in the civil courts.
    GO IRISH!!!

I am new to this site but after seeing the rants of RobertG I just had to read through all of these posts.
RobertG, you really need help as you are not living in the real world.
I have been a ND fan my entire life and have supported the team and each coach, including Charlie Weiss. I believe Charlie worked tirelessly for ND and clearly loves ND and the football program.
However, each of us should be measured by the results we achieve and not the effort we put forth. By Charlie’s own statements, he did not come to ND to be a mediocre coach. With the results he achieved and with all of the recruiting advantages offered by the ND his results were less than mediocre.
Let’s give Brian Kelley the same support we gave to Charlie Weiss and measure him by the results he achieves.
By the way RobertG, if you were living in the real world, you would have noticed that the economic downturn of the last year makes an investment drop understandable. I would suggest medical help for your delusions.

  22. Jake - Jan 11, 2010 at 7:02 AM

Welcome to the site. Don’t pay any attention to RobertG. This blog is only one of the many he rants on. It’s always the same thing and has been for at it for years.
Most here post informed opinions and we have good exchanges.

  23. sjpusmc - Jan 11, 2010 at 7:13 AM

Thanks for the welcome Jake. I noticed that most of the posts were rational and informed and I look forward to participating as well as a resurgence in ND football.

Thanks for hosting such a terrific website. this blog happens to be not just informative but also very stimulating too. There normally are very few experts who can create not so easy articles that creatively. A lot of people keep searching for content on a subject like this. We ourselves went through many websites to acquire information about this. Keep up the good work !!

  25. robertg - Jan 11, 2010 at 10:26 AM

    1. we are the only people who post accurate information at nd central and who actually make things happen in the civil courts to help college football and notre dame football.
    2. it is admirable for you to claim to be a real notre dame fan, but have you taken any time to become an informed notre dame fan?
    3. however, when a few very rotten apples in the current notre dame adminstration, without consulting the notre dame administration arrange and ignoring the warnings of notre dame’s student athletes, on their own and solely to promote their own personal financial agendas, used crooked officiating and rules enforcement systems to create excuse to fire charlie and his staff, who were and are the best matches for notre dame that there have been in decades, and hire kelly and a staff with zero nfl respect and connections and with experience at places like gvsu, central michigan, and cincinnati, then you have a guaranteed recipe for disaster for notre dame football and it should be your duty to step up and protect notre dame, as we are doing.
    4. you claim to have supported every single notre dame coach, including charlie weis, but that the firings were justified because of 6 very close phony paper losses which were orchestrated by dishonest officials from conferences of which notre dame is not a member.
    5. if you contact the responsible individuals at each conference and ask for information about the backgrounds and financial information on the officials, you will get zero information without court subpoenas and that is one of the things we have already done with every conference and with the ncaa.
    6. systems which are honest and have nothing to hide have no reasons to stonewall on any such information or to use the monetary sanctions and bans from college football.
    7. although we smelled something rotten about the officiating and rules enforcement a while ago, we did not know the officiating and other rules. we also did not understand the business aspects of college football or the recruiting processes.
    8. therefore, we hired the best experts in that business and purchased the equipment for them to break down the game film and tv feeds of every single bcs division game going back through the 2005 season, concentrating on the officiating.
    9. the detailed reports of the experts, who do not work together or see one another’s reports, are nearly identical. crooked officiating, defined as calls or non calls which have no basis at all in the rules or the actions of the players on the field, resulted in the alteration of 6 notre dame wins into losses in 2009 alone.
    10. so, what you are really saying is that charlie and his staff and notre dame’s student athletes really finished the 2009 season 12-0, but that you prefer the paper results orchestrated by dishonest officials and the ncaa rules that are never enforced with the result that notre dame’s student athletes are facing teams almost every week composed of full time football players with zero academic obligations instead of teams composed of genuine student athletes.
    10. we have used other avenues as well to uncover background and financial information on most game and tech review officials and we can tell you that their assets and lifestyles could not possibly be supported by their salaries from being officials or from other jobs or inheritances.
    11. if you do not have the time to become informed an informed notre dame fan, we understand that, but we are not be going to influenced by your posts.
    12. on the rules enforcement side of the equation, charlie and his staff and notre dame’s student athletes always followed the rules while their opponents have not, with the champion in cheating being usc by far.
13.on 10/15/2009, we and our allies, for the 1st time in history, forced the ncaa on 10/15/2009, after a trial and appeals, to disclose all transcripts and other information relating to the ncaa investigation of academic fraud at florida state to the public.
    14. all of the court documents and the ncaa documents in that case, which cost the ncaa millions in attorneys’ fees, disclosed are available for a reasonable copying fee from the ap legal department and from the offices of the attorney general of the state of florida.
    16. you may have noticed that the ncaa rarely takes any action against coaches and schools which engage in serial intentional rules violations, such as usc and many others no matter how overwhelming the evidence is.
    17. if you type into your search engine the words reggie bush investigation, you will find a very detailed report by 4 reporters called cash and carry about reggie bush’s intentional ncaa violations while he was playing football at usc.
    18. directly or indirectly, they got all of the leads from us.
    19. after all of these years, the lake vs bush civil case has been sent back to the san diego superior court for a very public and very expedited jury trial at which reggie, petey, and mikey and many other people currently and previously associated with usc’s crooked football and basketball will have to appear at depositions to testify under oath and produce documents and do the same thing at a very public jury trial. check the website of the california court of appeal, 4th district, div one. click on case information and under party search enter the names bush reginald and you can print out the courts order denying bush’s frivolous delaying appeal and senting it back for trial.
    20. you might ask whu the lake family and their attorneys continue to turn down huge amounts of hush money from bush. we know the answer, but we are not posting that information now.
    21. but for a great deal of direct and indirect assistance from us, the bush vs lake case and the ncaa investigation would be dead issues.
20.in addition, because of our big landmard disclosure win in the courts over the ncaa in that 10/15/2009, the ncaa’s normal payoff systems have become much to dangerous to operate and petey and mikey and others at usc feeling the heat.
    21. these are the real reasons why petey was forced to resign as usc’s coach, take the seattle nfl job and take his staff and many usc full time football players with him to the nfl.
    22. petey knew that that petey and his staff were doomed to be banned for life from college football and escaping to the nfl will protect them from the ncaa, but we will get them in the civil courts with our civil rico cases, as we did with the con artists who used to run enron and mci worldcom.
    23. these are just a few examples of the actual things that we have already done in the civil courts in addition to posting information at nd central and elsewhere as a public service for real notre dame fans who have the desire and the time to become informed notre dame fans.
    24. there are many individuals who have a vested financial interest in conning notre dame fans into believing that all is well at notre dame and paying them money to join those so called notre dame fan sites.
    25. right now, all is definitely not well at notre dame, but we will fix that in the civil courts.
    26. we are still in the out of court settlement phase of this project which involves many persons all over te us who were caught up in these nationwide scams, but deserve a second chance at honest life provided that they come up some money and documents and sworn declarations stating the true facts and naming names.
    27. we go through these same processes before wee actually file and serve lawsuits on the real hard core persons and entities who really do deserve complete economic extermination.
    28. since we have collected so much evidence before we even file
and serve lawsuits, we resolve the bulk of the issues by summary judgment very quickly.
    29. in the cases of the persons and entities that are real hard core cases, we prefer that they think that nothing will ever happen to them just as petey and mikey really did beilieve that their crooked usc football program would last forever.
    30. we certtainly understand that very few people can allocate the time, money, and expertise to these matters that we have and will continue to do so.
    31. in the nd, notre dame football and notre dame will survive and prosper, but we will cut out the cancers and bring charlie and his staff back so that everyone can see how excellent they really are with honest officiating and rules enforcement and rankings systems.
    GO IRISH!!!
