It’s only about 475 miles between Kansas City and South Bend — close enough for Charlie and Maura to maintain an active interest in the Hannah Foundation facility.
Years from now, I predict that people will acknowledge the major contribution Charlie and his staff made in helping to return the ND football program to glory by bringing in a nucleus of quality student athletes that successive coaches built upon.
It will be interesting to see if Charlie, Jr. attends ND as originally planned once the dust settles.
