I am not putting too much weight into this recruiting class as BK has only had a few months on the job and we cannot expect a top 10 class. The fact that ND is still in the top 20 is something to be proud of. A few defections in this years class on defense I think will hurt in a few years but other than that job well done. I really think the key to getting a top 5 class next year would be to have a really strong 2010 year and win a BCS bowl game, amazingly something ND has never done. I really believe if BK can get some momentum going this year to where recruits begin to believe ND can compete for national titles then the sky is the limit. Remember most of the high school seniors were only 2 or 3 years old the last time ND won the national championship in 1993. Get these kids believing they can win big at ND and the recruits should be flowing in.
