Amen. Nice reminder that Notre Dame doesn’t have a monopoly on the “Right Kind of Kids”. I’ll also be rooting for the Ducks to win this January.

As a life long Ducks, and Irish fan, this shows the kind of players that Chip Kelly tries to recruit.
To me, even more imnpressive than the fact that DJ has no affiliation at all with Notre Dame, is the fact that neither DJ Davis, nor the Oregon Ducks, did anything to publicize it.
It wasn’t for a story, it was for him, his brother, and Declan.

The Ducks just got another fan cheering them on. What an absolutely thoughtful and classy move. Thank you DJ Davis you will be remembered by more than one Irish fan that is for sure.

What a thoughtful and classy move. The fact that this athlete has no connection with ND makes it much more notable. Cheers to him. (I was already rooting for the Ducks in the NC anyway)
