You make an excellent point, and I do think that Christ, Rees, Hendrix, Massa and Montana are all talented; they’ve all developed in Coach Kelly’s system! And furthermore, as you point out, Christ’s and Rees’ game time experience can’t be ignored.

It’s interesting to think that Golson, if he does enroll early, will be in a similar situation to the one Rees was in–and look how well Rees did in November!

The word you used–”develop”–is so accurate. We’ll see how well and how quickly Golson develops.

Ultimately, I think that the competition will help all of our QBs, and make the starter better because of that competition!

O.K. Back to football—I like Christs’ attitude, Rees’ poise, Hendrix’s skills—but I think Golson will be the man. I know I’ve left Massa & Montana out—we’ll see what happens; it should be fun!
