Any chance his indiscretion was flying home to the east coast for Christmas and getting stuck there, not able to make the trip to El Paso with the rest of the team? If players were warned not to put themselves in position to deal with the blizzard and he ignored that warning and "snuck" home I could see them sitting him down. Anyway, I hope it is something like that and not any more serious.

The news about Kamara is really disappointing after the late season impact he made for the Irish. It's unfortunate that his career at Notre Dame is only going to be a side note, after the breakout freshman year presence he had. Whatever personal issues he's experiencing, it's clear that he sees his time with the Irish to be over and done with. This is not the attitude I would expect from anyone totally committed to Notre Dame's program, the school itself, and the current Brian Kelly philosophy. In this regard, I can understand coach Kelly's frustration with Kamara, and in turn completely agree with his praise for Michael Floyd. Hopefully, Floyd will decide to stay and finish his ND career with record breaking performances. I would be very disappointed if he left the program early like Golden Tate did last season.
