I think a lot depends on how well he showcases himself in the bowl game tomorrow. Floyd has the potential to put on a show. In my opinion, he has yet to have that showcase game this season. His slow start to the season did not help his draft status and numbers this year as well. For him to catch pro team’s eyes, he needs to create some big play tomorrow, like he did within Charlie Weis’ offense. With the pressure that is going to be placed on the o-line and Tommy Rees, Floyd is going to go get the ball, and has some freedom to move within his routes. Having Theo Riddick / TJ Jones back for the game tomorrow, and Efiert’s presence on the feild should free Floyd up even more. I’m excited to see what I hope to be the 2011 offense for ND tomorrow.

I was of the early opinion that Floyd was certain to depart for the NFL at the end of the season. However, I would not be surprised at this point to see him stay. It all seems to be little more than a coin toss.

Nice job, KA. To draft, legacy, and future, I’d only add degree. Getting an ND degree is no small thing. If it means something on the front end of recruiting, it should mean something when thinking of leaving.
