Well, believe it or not those moments you mentioned (’88 Miami, ’73 USC) WERE NOT on NBC, dingus. The category is “memorable moments of Notre Dame on NBC.” Don’t go throwing thinly veiled insults at a great blogger just because your reading comprehension wasn’t quite up to the task today. Sorry, don’t want to sound like a jerk– knee-jerk commenter reactions against such a great blog & blogger really annoy me.

For the love of God do you have any reading comprehension skills. The balloting is for the Top Ten Moments from NBC’s coverage of the Irish. They did not cover 88 Miami, the Cotton Bowls or 73/77USC. CBS did.

Every ND fan with a brain knows that 88 Miami is Number one, probably tied with the 73 Sugar Bowl, followed by 73, USC, 77 USC and the Cotton Bowls. the best NBC televised game would be hard pressed to make the top 5 Irish moments.

I agree. I accidentally left that one out. Also, the 1970 and 71 games against Texas where Ara showed the world how to beat the Wishbone Offense.

73 USC was great. I was also thinking Alabama in the Sugar Bowl 12/31/73……National Champs.
