Live Blog: Notre Dame vs. Michigan

Sep 10, 2011, 4:11 PM EDT

While home games have the live blog living in a new home, away games let us go back to the basics and have a good ol’ fashion Cover-it-Live blog.

For the third time, we’ll live-blog the Michigan vs. Notre Dame game. The last two ended in heart-stopping fashion for the Irish, with Tate Forcier and Denard Robinson delivering the knockout punch in the games’ final seconds.

Can Notre Dame brush off an awful start to the season and avoid the self-destructive mistakes that cost them last Saturday?

With College GameDay on campus, throwback uniforms, and a prime-time kickoff, there is no shortage of story lines. Can the Irish get over the hump and even their record at 1-1? Or will Brady Hoke win his first big game as head coach of the Wolverines?

We’ll find out at 8:00 p.m. in Michigan Stadium.

One of the problems with ND is their inability to make adjustments. Michigan adjusted and Notre Dame did not. Seems to me a little secondary coaching may have helped. How about turn and find the ball? 9 turnovers , poor special teams play and countless silly penalties. Same undisciplined play we have witnessed for the last several years.
