I don’t know how many of the people leaving comments on these boards are ND alumnus, but I am not. I wish I would have had the opportunity (financially or academically) to attend Notre Dame so that I could experience exactly what Steve is talking about in this video. I know that I’ll never fully “get it,” but I can tell you that in 1999, at the age of 22, I was diagnosed with cancer. For my birthday that year, I was taken to the Notre Dame vs. Navy game. I had great seats on the 45 yard line, section 110, Row 1, and as I sat there waiting for the game to start, I cried like a baby.

It is a special place…it truly is.
