There are quite a few more questions to ask now then there were heading into last weekend. So ask them here, on Twitter, or however you’d like.

Fire away.

who was it wearing #16 against UM?

with gallon’s long TD run and the 5 missed tackles, how long before someone includes it in a youtube montage juxtaposed with clips of the keystone cops, rodeo clowns and any clip of Joe Biden speaking?

    • mcirish27 - Sep 12, 2013 at 2:10 PM

Eilar Hardy, correct? Changed based on special teams play alongside GAIII

    @domer77
The only halftime adjustments I can recall were against Florida State in the citrus bowl. We had them shut out in the first half, Diaco made adjustments and stopped blitzing in the second half.. You know how it ended.

Keith, a couple of questions relating to this Saturday’s game:

    1) Do you know where I can find a live stream of the game on the internet?

    2) Why don’t my comments show up on the live blog?

I figured if you answer these now as part of the mailbag, you won’t have to deal with them FIFTY times during the game.

    • idratherbeinsouthbend - Sep 12, 2013 at 5:03 PM

comments on the live blog are selected to appear. You’re just submitting a comment and then the moderator (Keith, in this case) chooses whether to use it in the live blog roll or not use it.

And you might be able to find a live stream of the game on espn3.com or whatever they call their multichannel system now, but since it’s nationally televised on ABC, i wouldn’t hold my breath on that.

You could always use an illegal streaming website, like you might for a pay per view fight or out of market game, but i’d rather not post one of those websites here.

Ah, Jersey/Art… You beat me to it.

Thanks idratherbe — but Ol’ Jersey was just messing with me.

    KA, two questions:

Do GB and TF get meaningful playing time behind AC this week (not in mop up roles)?

Does Diaco finally change his defensive scheme and stop leaving the corners on an island?

    Slainte – GO IRISH!!!

  5. goirishgo - Sep 12, 2013 at 3:09 PM

What will change defensively this week?

P.S. The live blog is great. So cool to watch the game and participate in the back and forth with ND fans worldwide.

    Keith,

1 – Do you think the egg ND laid on National television vs. Michigan hurt us in recruiting like the egg we laid at home vs. Sothern Cal 2 years ago ?

2 – Are you hearing any grumblings from Folston, Bryant, Redfield or Luke about leaving because of a lack of playing time ? Bryant might be the most football ready freshman I’ve ever seen and Tuitt thinks he’s the hardest to tackle on the team. You can’t blame some of these guys for pouting or being pissed because they’ve done the work to be ready to play, so what if they are freshman. And the guys in front of them are stinking it up after 2 games, I’d be pissed watching GA3 drop 4 or 5 passes in a game. Kelly keeps sticking with these guys like tommy and George, my high school basketball coach told one of our players who kept making mistakes…”we had a guy like you in the Army and you know what we did with him ?…………. We shot him”

  7. irishdodger - Sep 12, 2013 at 3:19 PM

Keith, what gives you optimism to think they can avoid another down to the wire finish similar to last year’s squeaker?

  8. fnc111 - Sep 12, 2013 at 4:19 PM

I said two years ago, after the USC game, that the duo of Kelly/Rees will bring ND football to its knees. I didn’t want to be right but if you look objectively it’s the truth.

If ND accepts a bid to the Motor City Bowl I will never talk ND football again and will cease to be a fan.

    • 4horsemenrideagain - Sep 12, 2013 at 4:28 PM

“Kelly/Rees will bring ND football to its knees…”

yeeesh. enough from the drama queen already.

    • idratherbeinsouthbend - Sep 12, 2013 at 5:05 PM

and your question for Keith was what?

      I’ll ask one for you…

      Keith,

Can you look at fnc111′s IP address and see where he is located and then find the nearest massage parlor that has happy endings? (This guy needs to release some tension)

    • idratherbeinsouthbend - Sep 12, 2013 at 5:10 PM

“If ND accepts a bid to the Motor City Bowl I will never talk ND football again and will cease to be a fan.”

this is ALMOST enough for me to hope that we get into the Motor City Bowl….having you go away would be….http://youtu.be/pipTwjwrQYQ

    • ndfaithful - Sep 12, 2013 at 7:14 PM

I would call this retarded but that would be rude to retarded people.

    • don74 - Sep 12, 2013 at 7:30 PM

I am one of the most optimistic fans around however the thought of losing fnc has me booking my tickets for the Motor City Bowl.

      • nudeman - Sep 12, 2013 at 10:17 PM

        I’m in

      • bearcatirishfan - Sep 12, 2013 at 10:52 PM

Can we make it something like the Sheridan hotelsHawaii bowl, Detroit sucks, sorry marshal mathers 2, but it’s a s hole.

  9. mikes1160 - Sep 12, 2013 at 7:36 PM

It wasn’t classic c4. It’s Saban not addressing a news story.

Tommy Rees is the qb. He threw for 312 yards against Greg Mattison’s vaunted defense. Right now, he’s not the problem.

    • idratherbeinsouthbend - Sep 12, 2013 at 11:01 PM

Are you the guy that stands in the corner of the room and talks to yourself? I’m gonna assume that you were intending to reply to another comment, but in the future, don’t take free candy from dickassman

  10. bearcatirishfan - Sep 12, 2013 at 10:53 PM

Keith, what do you think protector and gambles (they make pampers) stock has risen to due to all the fans on this blog positively sh*tting themselves after, last Saturday night?
