No. 8 Notre Dame is set to host No. 7 Stanford in a showdown of unbeaten rivals this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
The Fighting Irish (4-0) are coming off a big win on the road against Wake Forest with Ian Book starting for the first time this season. Book accounted for five touchdowns, two throwing and three rushing, in the 56-27 victory over the Demon Deacons.
Coach Brian Kelly has yet to name a starter against Stanford, but it seems likely Book will get the nod again.

The Cardinal narrowly defeated Oregon in overtime last week and all eyes will be on last year’s Heisman candidate, running back Bryce Love. The dynamic tailback only has 254 yards and two touchdowns to date, but the Fighting Irish know he can break off a big run at any moment.
Saturday’s meeting will mark the 22nd season in a row that Stanford will play Notre Dame and presents the first Top 10 clash at Notre Dame Stadium in 13 years.
